SPECIAL SUBLET MOUNT VERNON PLACE

Seeking convenience, comfort, and old Baltimore charm? We’re offering our lovely one-bedroom, fully-furnished apartment overlooking Monument Square for sublet. The apartment is of a grand old style rarely seen today, with soaring ceilings, wooden... floors, and marble fireplace with a grand mirror above it. Large windows open to the square, and there’s a small balcony.

The Peabody Institute, Peabody Library, The Walters Art Museum, and the Baltimore School for the Arts are across the street. During the spring, summer, and autumn there are free concerts and movies in the square, and the Baltimore’s iconic Washington Monument is lit with holiday splendor during the winter holiday period. There are multiple restaurants, cafés, and bars in the neighborhood, as well as some good grocery stores, antique shops and galleries, the Mount Vernon Marketplace, and Lexington Market. Baltimore’s best Farmer’s Market is a 10-minute walk from here. Several bus lines are steps away, including the Johns Hopkins Shuttle, both to the Medical School and Homewood campus, and the free Circulator bus going north and south. Penn Station is also a 15-minute walk. So, is the Inner Harbor. And, the light rail to the airport is 3 minutes away. The apartment is also very close to MICA, the University of Maryland Medical Center and the University of Baltimore.

This is a wonderful apartment in a lively, though also peaceful neighborhood, full of history, but also full of life.

Available from September 1, 2025 to the third week of August 2026, with some flexibility on either end.

There might be the possibility of taking over the lease (though, less furnished), before or at the end of this period.

Price: $1450/month (price landlord charges us, if there is a rent increase, the rent will go to that.)

Video tour available upon request.
