Loved the building, facade and location as soon as I saw it driving in. The staff was very warm and friendly (as expected) during my first visit. When I entered the apartment (that I chose to rent), I had a total "Ah-ha" moment at the green views outside the large windows and the wonderful spacious, open and modern look of the space. More than anything though, what I am loving since that first day more than a month ago, is that there have been no disappointments since. Every single member of the... wonderful staff from managers to advisors to receptionists to maintenance and even cleaning svc people have been consistently warm, friendly and helpful. It's beginning to feel more and more like a caring family as I work towards moving in 10 days from now. I already feel looked after and my innumerable, incessant questions and minor issues have been immediately and patiently addressed to my satisfaction. I cannot wait to start my life here !

Hennessy(palisades leasing professional)did an excellent job of getting me set up in my new place. My schedule is very busy and she made every effort to keep me on schedule with my move in process. I have lived in numerous apartments around the DMV area and have never received the customer service support she provided. I expected a nice apartment, however, I did not expect A1 customer service.

Edwin did a great job of cleaning the HVAC in my unit. This was a regularly scheduled HVAC cleaning. Edwin removed the fan motor, vacuum and than sprayed a cleaning solvent before replacing the motor. This was the best cleaning ever. Before the cleaning and in the past I would have to sweep dust every morning from in front of the unit, but after this cleaning no dust no sweeping in the am. Yeahhh. Thank you Edwin.
Also I would like to commend the entire leasing staff for all they do to... make my stay here a good safe and happy place to live. They are always ready to listen, yes they even chitchat with the residents. Their main purpose is to make and maintain improvements at the Palisades to provide a safe home environment for the residents. Yes there are some hiccups but the hiccups are handle immediately. I really liked living here. It's definitely on the pricey side but you get a pretty nice unit and plenty of amenities. The problem I had is when it came time to move out. They charged a $370 "redecorating" fee. There's not even a single scratch or mark in my unit and they won't explain what that charge is for other than referring me back to the lease. What a joke. Avoid this place if you appreciate not being nickel-and-dimed at move out.

I am completely satisfied with my apartment at the Palisades. My unit is very nice with awesome appliances and huge windows. The units are very quiet and you can only hear people walking in and out of their apartments but not through the walls from surrounding units. The best part is that everything is included in your rent payment so no worries about having a huge electric or water bill. You also control your own thermostat. The parking garage is nice although the technology for the method... of entry is faulty at times. They provide carts to carry groceries and other items - this has approved extremely helpful during my move. The other amenities are very nice and the gym has allowed me to cancel my gym membership. There is a 24hr concierge so there is no worry about rushing home from work in time to get that much needed amazon package. Also my unit receives a lot of natural light which is great! Read More
