This tutorial will walk through the process of registering as a property manager.
From the main page, click the “Sign Up” button to begin your registration.(Press down arrow for details. Press right arrow to skip.)
Now locate the “Property Managers” section and click the “Sign up” button.
Now locate the “Individuals / Private Owners” section and click the “Individual Sign Up” button.This will take us to the registration page for an individual lister.
Once you’re on the Lister Registration page, you are able to choose the type of subscription you would prefer.
By default, the Regular Subscription is selected. If you want to purchase a Featured Listing Subscription, you can click that option in order to select it.A description of both types of subscriptions is provided below both options.
Once you've selected your subscription type, you can specify the number of units available for rent from the drop-down menu.
Notice that the registration cost, shown near the bottom of the page, updates based on the type of subscription selected and the number of units specified.Here you can also see the length of the subscription.
Once you're ready to continue, you can click the “Continue Registration” button to move on.
Now, you can set up your account in the Account Information section.
First, you will need to set your username and password for the site.This is what you will need to provide next time you want to log in, so it’s important that they are both memorable.
Start by entering a name in the “Username” field.This must be between 3 and 46 characters.
Next, in the “Password” field, enter a password that is 8 characters or more.
Optionally, you can add a word or short phrase as a reminder for your password in the “Password Reminder” field.
Next, you’ll provide an email address for your account in the “Email” field.This should be an email address that you have access to.
Finally, you’ll select your owner type from the drop-down under “Owner / Manager Type”.
Now, you can move on to the "Contact Information" section.
Type your full name in the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields.
If you belong to a company, you can also specify it in the “Company Name” field.If you are an individual owner, you can skip that field.
Enter your phone number in the “Phone Number” field, specifying the area code.Optionally, you can also add a fax number in the "Fax Number" field.
Enter your address information in the fields.
Finally, select an option from the drop-down under “How Did You Hear About This Site?”.
Now, you can move on to the questions in the “Options” section.
First, decide whether you want to receive emails about site updates.If that sounds fine, leave “Yes” selected. Otherwise, select "No".
If you’re interested in special offers from marketing partners, you can leave "Yes" selected for that question.If you're not interested, select “No".
Finally, if you’d like for your email to display in your listings, leave “No” selected for that last question.If you want to hide your email so that renter will only contact you by phone, select "Yes"
Now you can see a review of your subscription information in the “Your Subscription” section.
This section includes the subscription type, length, and price.If you need to, you can change this information by clicking the “Change Subscription” link.
Once you've completed everything on the page, you can click the “Register” button, which will bring you to your account page.
At this point, you have successfully registered for a property manager account.From your account page, you can add new listings, view your profile, and manage or edit your account and subscription information.
